Kuwait Television KTV2 (2017)

  • Starting January 2017, I was a recurring guest on the Education and Psychology program with Dr Kamel and Dr Hassan for KTV2 the English Channel in Kuwait. The program was broadcast bi-weekly and sought a strong English-speaking audience across Kuwait.

  • In October of 2013, I was contacted by the SRC/CBC to conduct a live phone interview in regards to my FSL classroom. The phone interview was conducted in French and I was able to share my teaching practise as well as the engaging FSL program that I have created in my current school.
     

  • In June of 2014, I was contacted by the SRC/CBC to conduct a live phone interview, photo shoot and recording of my students celebrating the 2014 World Cup. Our decorated classroom and the inquiry based learning
    activities were followed by the CBC as well as the bilingual approach that engaged the school community.
     

  • In July of 2014, I was contacted by the SRC/CBC to conduct a live phone interview, photo shoot and recording of participation in the Projèt a Québec 2014. I was one of 50 educators of FSL who engaged in a 10 day cultural tour of Francophone Canada as well as pedagogical documentation around teaching the culture Quebec to non-francophone students.
     

  • In July of 2014, I was contacted by the SRC/CBC to conduct a live in-studio interview in regards to my work with Encore Detroit and the 2nd annual Bayou Detroit Event. As a member of the central executive I spoke on behalf of our team and the event that was taking place to celebrate French culture in Michigan.
     

  • In September of 2014 I was chosen by the CBEF/SRC to host a morning radio show called La Rentré Scolaire 2014; La mode de l'automne et de la rentré d'école. This was a one hour show where I and other educators and I each hosted a segment based on different special topics. We worked collaboratively with the host's to create our segment.
     

  • December 2014, I and Dr Jeremy Worth, professor at the University of Windsor, hosted a radio-show with the CBEF/SRC as guest presenters speaking to the topic of “Le Grand Partage”. We were chosen to host this segment as co-presenters speaking to the topic and theme of the holiday show.
     

  • February 2015, radio interview with CBEF/SRC to conduct a live phone interview to discuss my classroom collaboration with Detroit Public School FLICS in regards to ICT/ Skype in the Classroom and our Valentine’s Day inquiry based student achievement model.
     

  • April 2015, radio interview with CBEF/SRC to conduct a live phone interview to discuss my Caring Canadian Governor General’s Award and my role in the community of Windsor-Essex County, Ontario, Canada.
     

  • June 2015, radio interview with CBEF/SRC in regards to health and beauty in the City of Windsor. The interview was conducted with health and beauty professionals in the city- A joint collaboration.
     

  • August 2015, radio interview with CBEF/SRC in regards to summer fashion in collaboration with Beatrice Dalphonie from the Windsor Star, Ontario. We both spoke to the subject matter and interview as collaboration for summer 2015 fashion.
     

  • Aug 2015/ Dec 2015/ Aug 2016 3 part series conducted a radio interview in regards to living in Kuwait. The radio interview was a short interview in regard to working abroad and what are the benefits to working abroad in the GCC countries.
     

  • July 2017 I was on the SRC/CBC radio for a 2 part series on being a Canadian overseas and living abroad as well as teaching and leadership in Kuwait and developing nations. This also led into my work in the community of Ontario, Canada and my contributions.
     

  • July 2017 I was on the CKLW radio for being a Canadian overseas and living abroad as well as teaching and leadership in Kuwait and developing nations. This also led into my work in the community of Ontario, Canada and my contributions.
     

  • July 2018 I was on the radio for being a Canadian overseas and living abroad as well as teaching and leadership in Haiti and developing nations. 
     

  • August 2018 I was on the radio for being a Canadian overseas and living abroad as well as teaching and leadership in China and developing nations. 
     

  • March 2018, CINA FM 102.3 FM For my work in the Middle East and then transfering that into our community. Bridging a life between both the West and East as well as keeping a full time career.
